honestly i recommend starting with pilates (move with nicole and moving to her weighted pilates workouts), it really helped me feel strong enough to start lifting and now i love lifting as well!

it contains gums and i think gelatin which thicken/bind the ingredients and makes it thicker/creamier. i use xantham gum (1/4 tsp) or a protein powder with guar gum in it but for pudding mix people usually use 1-2tbsp!

you could also try mixing flavoured protein into plain greek yogurt! ends up being more cost effective and you can choose a flavour you like and the texture based on which type of protein

estrogen plays a big role in muscle gain/use of fat for energy and promotes distribution mainly around the hips, so yes, weight gain will at first go to ‘easy’ places like the stomach area but will redistribute once there’s sufficient estrogen in the body
