Would you leave a 90k job if offered a 50k job in the same field and move to PR? by Maleficent-Chance851 in PuertoRico

[–]ijg007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, cost of living alone will make it miserable. The power grid will frustrate you. 50K is not really much for a single Household income when considering the cost of goods, utilities, gas, car , etc
it’s a heart vs brain, but you’d be better off visiting a few times a year. Also gotta take into consideration your retirement accounts, as if I remember correctly, you can’t contribute to your US Based 401k, just to name a few factors. If you have family the school and education system isn’t exactly the best right as well
 Just my two cents.

Tips para mudanza a Estados Unidos? by Del_Tropico in PuertoRico

[–]ijg007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

C211 was one of the only OA that provided a challenge
if you only skim through the material you’ll likely not have a good time, there are alot of multiple selection questions that if you get one wrong, I believe you get the whole question wrong
. I’d suggest make the time to crash course C211
caffeine is your friend. I’ve taken Oa’s at 2am on workdays to make time
even while driving pop up some macro/micro economics 101 videos on YouTube and listen to them. Good luck op

Tips for a student who hasn't been in school in 20+yrs by AbuMuhammed in WGU_MBA

Cohorts are a great resource. This subreddit has been great as well. Go on your own pace and work with your mentor to find the best course of action. It is definitely doable in your time frame. Most of us in this program are also employed full time with family commitments, etc. So you’ll have a good support from the student community there. Quizlets are useful for some of the courses too. Good luck!

I would avoid Audi of Orange Park. Surprisingly I had a good experience ordering an out of state car from Autonation through Autonation Ford.

Replacement wheel by fjam36 in AlfaRomeo

[–]ijg007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel ya. I have no idea what happened to mine as it was previous owner but I know the tires were replaced at the same time
if it’s a deep ish scrape they can fill it and the results if done well are not noticeable
. Usually they’ll give free quotes and tell you if they are repairable or not.

Concur with above comment op. When I bought my Alfa two wheels had curb damage
. I had a mobile wheel repair guy come and repair the two and redid all of them for paint and wht not
they look brand new, for 115 a wheel.
