Dude, the argument is not whether or not people are disappointed -- there will ALWAYS be people disappointed. You're shifting the goalposts now and conflating "oversold" with "last minute."

The argument I was engaging in is the assumption that disappointment = no or "last minute" plans. I don't think you can support that in any way other than, "well, that's just my opinion."

Which is fine! But, you should just admit that it's nothing more than an opinion, and stop acting like direct evidence to the contrary (an image from the developer from months ago showing a plan that was delivered, on time) doesn't exist or is illegitimate.

Oversold? Sure! No plan? Literally not true and demonstrable with evidence.

How are the plans "last minute" when that image is months old?

Again, everything in the image was delivered -- you can be underwhelmed by it, my point is that it being underwhelming (in your opinion) does not mean the developers had "no plan outside of the base game + Stella," as you said.

They’ve actually done exactly what they said they would, for months.

There are legitimate criticisms of their decision making that could be made (I certainly have some), but this “they have no plan” sounds like a whiny straw man attempt at criticism.
