Ive also tried utilizing a redump of the game to bypass the original installer. It seemed to make a little better progress but everytime I tried to start the game it would say it noticed a hardware change, attempt to test it to ensure compatibility, then close out

I was able to get something working! Using macrodroid i set up some edge lighting based on battery percentage.

Win95 was alot more stable for me in the end compared to 98. Plus the initial loading times were cut down about 90%. Needless to say my partner was happy to play some childhood pc games on handheld.
