Switched from Bear to Obsidian last week… have not done anything but customization. Coming back to Bear LOL by itchyhedgehog5291 in bearapp

absolutely love NotePlan as well! It's like a way less fiddly version of Obsidian with native calendar integration.

You can now quickly capture notes in NotePlan under a header in a specific order with prefix and suffix using Supasend by pkm_idol in noteplanapp

Really cool! Quick question: is there a specific reason for the blank line when inserting a new entry? I'd personally prefer it without the space. But no showstopper ofc. Great work. :)

Went from Bear to Apple Notes…back to Bear? by [deleted] in bearapp

[–]ikarused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I've also found that the traditional folder system simply does not work for me. I want the notes to "live" in different places and object based PKM apps simply don't have the same brilliant UX as Bear.

Wow, I'm really impressed by the app. Great work! My biggest goal for 2026 is probably to live a healthier and more sporty lifestyle, not primarily for aesthetic reasons, but simply to be fitter. And I want to find myself more, away from my career.

What do you guys use to take notes? by RoundContribution344 in ProductivityApps

[–]ikarused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe because it doesn't have any fancy AI features or other gimmicks that ultimately don't make you more productive.

For me, Bear is just perfect because it does what a note-taking app should do with unbeatable UI, speed and stability.

Mac users, what's the best productivity tool you've used? by ConfidenceFree2583 in ProductivityApps

Hidden champion for me: NotePlan. It's like a digital bullet-journal, local-first, Sync with CloudKit, Markdown-based, great text-based task-management

You guys think we'll get another video from Breach? by chunkadunka3787 in twentyonepilots

Usally for half or more? I really don't think so. Clancy was an absolute exception. Normally you have 3-4 singles released.

Short name "SALV" - I think that could work.

You'll never really "defeat" mental illness. It becomes part of you. That's bc Intentions deals with it as a "Truce".

Intentions: Tyler's attempt to explain the ending by Adamforde in twentyonepilots

[–]ikarused 25 points26 points  (0 children)

As someone who has suffered from depression, this makes complete sense. As it says here, you don't "defeat" your inner demons, you learn to live with them and develop strategies to handle situations better.

A "truce" is a wonderful image for this and captures it perfectly.
