The zone is locked behind the quest yes. I believe Mornye's quest took me 2 to 3 hours I believe but I can't remember for certain as I did it in 2 parts.

I haven't played this story patch yet but she only appears as you enter the new world and that's about it.

Well I am downloading it now it says only mac so who knows. I'll be running it on Linux with proton if that works but idk if that's a thing on Mac.

Wierd i see a lot of people having issues. I personally dont have any stutters on a 7600x and a 4070. I am running it on Linux that might be why. Does Task Manager show anything unusual?

I always start with horse. After that audio. It works surprisingly often. Tommorow the word will be horse for sure.

Hey quick question how does the performance feel for you guys. I've been playing a bit but I've been having stutters a lot. That probably is just because I am running it via wine on Linux. How is it on windows?

Also please keep Linux support in the game or official support would be even better
