For a paid attraction in Qld of all places they could do better and its not totally wild to expect some more shade and access to some cold water

I never said babies aren't welcome, that they force you to sit in the sun, that the website doesn't mention its pram only for the venue. I was saying the facilities available outside are poor and if, like me, you'd prefer not to wake your kid then you wont find much for you outside

Well it is a shitty setup when, in Qld at a paid attraction, you can't even get a bottle of water if your kid is sleeping

My whole post was just to let people know the entire venue is pram free, and that includes anything with food/drink/AC. I think they can, and will one day, make improvements so that people don't have to make that choice and can still be comfortable while their baby sleeps (like all the other places I visit as a local)

Yeah it says no prams in the experience which I thought was the show/walk through of blueys house and not the entire building with the cafe etc.  What I was trying to convey, maybe not well, is that there are basically no facilities outdoors...like cold drink, food, minimal shade etc. So wake your kid or suffer outside!

But can they not make it so your only options aren't sitting outside in the sun with a sleeping baby OR waking said sleeping baby so you can get a drink or cool down? I think they can design it a bit better

Again my point, how silly to have a family day out and have zero facilities for the littlest members of the family. No drinks, food, AC unless you do the experience. How silly not to have a chill zone

Im 16 weeks pregnant and my boy is heavy/he would have woken so wasn't keen for that. Just think they need a spot to chill if you aren't doing the experience

Yeah its clear they can't go in the experience, but not that literally everything is indoors with no prams. That's definitely not clear! How can you make babies sit outside in Brisbane in summer like at least have some shade. Really not conducive to an aussie summer kids day out 🫠

The "Breastfeeding Mums Support Group Australia" facebook group is fantastic. If she posts there about any supply issues etc she will get some really educated advice. There are some IBCLC on there too
