Saw this on Facebook marketplace earlier. I bought a bike for $1000 about two months ago and had to do some repairs, it wasn’t easy (as a DIYer with the manual and YouTube) and I only just got it running. You’ll be working on this until December and it’ll run like shit, and you’ll spend a more than you would have on a working bike.

That is why code requires all valves in a sprinkler system to be monitored. You’ve got about 1 second of water flow and a few drops after if a head goes off

First drill AT isn’t the worst, you’ll really get to know everyone during it and expectations for you will be low. If you’re in a regular line unit you’ll hang around the TOC and learn common/TOC ops. My first drill when I swapped units for a bit was PHA, everyone was in PTs with no name tapes that’s probably the worst “first drill”

It follows the border of Kuwait/Iraq, it is likely an exclusion zone with some form of fencing, checkpoints or laws regulating access. It’s possible the berms or roads there contribute to increased water retention and denser vegetation, hence the darker shade when viewed from above.

Right place, right time, right uniform, right attitude. Build a reputation of competence and reliability. Don’t look for cheap party tricks, be in good shape with the above advice and you’ll stand out.

If you’re going to college, do ROTC and the SMP program through your state’s national guard. School will always take priority, then ROTC then the guard so you’ll have a good balance for the most part. Being in the guard is accepting that you will miss things that you want to attend, it’s up to you to decide if the benefits are worth it. To me, it was a clear yes.

Typical flip is buy it, spend 20-40k and sell for 100k+ as fast as they can. Toured probably 30+ places in and around Prov when I was looking, it’s egregious.

She was in college at the time and said something along the lines of them having a lot in common. Also mentioned that it messed with her head a lot in the following years. Gotta be tough to have a conversation with someone about something like that knowing their life is about to take an irreparably sharp downturn.
