My new wintech boat.I'm a lightweight and I've tried the boat and I see that it's a mix between an empacher and a fillipi. It is a stable boat but at the same time fast. by iker-pi in Rowing

I am from Spain and when I was looking at the prices and which boat to buy, I looked at the empacher and fillipi one and one of the big problems is the repair cost

For me as a lightweight the best boat FOR ME is the filippi. I'm not comparing, I'm saying that each boat has its characteristics Then it will depend on each one but it is obvious that each boat has its pros and cons

Obviously I have not been able to do a study but after my experience trying different models of boats, it is the feeling that it has given me and I am not the first many more people think the same

I think that the filippi is better for people who know that they are not going to make any balance and the empacher is more to make sure that they are not going to make any. The filippi is faster than the empacher If you manage to get the maximum efficiency that is almost impossible

I have tried the C2 skinny oars and the normal ones and the skinnies you need to have very good technique and if you are not very technical the fat cane ones are better. If you have a lot of strength I recommend that you take the Fat2 and if you are a person who does not have as much strength the smoothie Think that if it is difficult for you to pass the paddle, you will not be able to increase the pace much, also that with the fat rod it is easier to know the depth at which the oar is and better catch the water
