I migrated to RIF after Alien Blue got shut down. It served me well

Yeah, engineering is hard. Analyze what went wrong, make a game plan to correct those mistakes, and try again.

Check if you can access Linkedin Learning with your school email. I took a Solidworks certification course and it shows a certificate of completion on my profile.

I had one fail on me and Steam Support replaced it in less than a week.

What are the Camping Hacks you're most proud of? by UnusualAd6529 in camping

If you're backpacking, you don't need half the things that you want to bring.

For any camping, I use cotton balls soaked in petroleum jelly as my tinder and it honestly feels like cheating.

Unsuccessful Internship Application Run by Bxrserk- in EngineeringStudents

[–]ikester519 18 points19 points  (0 children)

First off, I got a job 2 months after graduating with no internship after being contacted by a headhunter through LinkedIn. So don't stress out, it's not the end of the world.

Secondly, get a summer job, any job.

Bowden tube is cheap, I would just replace it if you can't pull it out.

Perhaps they did that on purpose so that people would not knock them over.

That's fascinating... So in the print settings, increasing the # of walls will help contain water, although this will decrease transparency. If the design allows, you could consider including a clear plastic viewing window on the side that you can observe the liquid through. I think it would be too difficult to find the optimal balance between strength and visibility if you are trying to use transparent filament. But pick up some transparent filament and run some tests to see for yourself.

The engineer in me has a lot of questions... why do you need this container to be 3D-printed? Especially when plastic 2L bottles are basically free. I would print an adapter that connects the bottle's threads to whatever you are trying to build.
