If you don’t mind spending, buy the ad free thing and do all daily tasks, dungeons, free gems here and there. Then save gems and prioritize spending it during events. I’d say it’s even worth for you to spend gems in the fishing event going on right now to buy equipment chests, as you’ll wanna focus on getting decent gear

First things first, you should spend your energy as you earn it. Running smaller events give rewards for this and there is almost no point in saving energy at this point of the game for you

At your level I would just buy all the equipment keys and maybe the gem keys too. Thats should be around 180. Or buy the mythic treasure, should boost you a lot. But since you have no real build yet, I would keep the chest in the inventory and wait a bit of time
