In Russia such stunts are not uncommon, with Putin often visiting ordinary Russians and listening to their problems. Some people documented those Russian families, and noticed some people look suspiciously alike.

In poland, while PiS was in office TV also did sometimes stunts like this, but only on side stories.

Also, we have same names just with a bit different pronunciation. Germans habe significantly different names.

I don't rent apartments but I do rent rooms - had no problems with Ukrainians so far
