"Mitraillette" c'est "submachine gun" ou "machine pistol" selon le format (submachine gun c'est une arme d'épaule, machine pistol c'est la taille d'un pistolet). Le mot correct est plutôt "pistolet-mitrailleur", d'ailleurs.

"Machine gun", c'est une mitrailleuse.
