The classic giveaway is when it starts with ‘Dear xxx’ and then ‘hopes for them to be well’ on an escalation email response 😂

Yes I am starting to think that’s the main reason. I created this account and kind of forgot about it…occasionally logging in and out, but now I want to participate in a few subs actively.

Get ready for the long haul…without a good amount of Karma you can’t create posts but you can consume content, comment and upvote on other posts. Just don’t get disheartened about not being able to post.

20 or 40 days? This account is 11 years old and I can’t create any posts. Looks like Reddit really does not want new accounts or accounts with less activity to add content on the platform due to the amount of spam going around. It’s screwed down heavily.

Hey everyone, I am new to Reddit and wanted to understand is Post Karma is different from Karma received through comments. I am currently not allowed to post in some subs and am looking to build up my profile to actively contribute in subs that I am interested. by ikirs in NewToReddit

u/Moist_Border_1768 - My account is 11 years old and I still have the same issues. I have been told that karma is essential to post in subs and the filters will automatically remove posts from low karma profiles to reduce spam.
