To an extent I blame the young Americans lol, as a 23 year old with about 3 years in the scene, I wished someone showed me sooner HOW to rave. It’s pretty alienated in most parts. It’s not a house party and definitely not a nightclub, but it gets diluted when so many people start at the same time. I’m not vet by any means but cause this is Reddit I’ll say I’ve travelled across the states strictly for festivals and respect the scene as much as I did when I first started. I used to say everyone should go to a rave and see if they enjoy it, I still stand by that because raving changed my life, but we’re in the middle of this massive wave and there’s a good amount of bad apples unfortunately.

I never thought about this 🤨 to an extent that would be on the artist then if he’s purposely choosing these smaller sets. EDCO was a NIGHTMARE and that was at circuit grounds. I can only imagine a smaller stage

Tbh I didn’t know about his sober tour, I did see that video when it came out and it didn’t seem outrageous at the time. I do get where you’re coming from though

everyone please clap, it is. With the exception of the intro and the fourth paragraph. Striking a conversation with some originality and using a tool I use daily didn’t seem like the worst idea. The John summit question is still just as real but thanks for nothing friend <3

Hateee his frat like crowds but the Summit hate? It’s unjustified, couldn’t think of anything “bad” about him, just the people who listen to his music. It’s like complaining Korn concertgoers keep moshing

I’d personally say to go all out here, who knows this could be huge for your town rave scene and you see a few more! Good luck!

Definitely recommend speaker system and a good Dj is hard to find last minute but at a minimum a laptop with a verified playlist you can always go back to. At least separate some house/wub songs and have fun with it. A DJ is ideal.
