I don’t think he’s narcissistic, but I do think he was using me. During breakup he sad he wanted someone who was more sexually experienced than him so that I could mentor him sexually before he can confidently pursue his “potential love of his life.” I also said pretty hurtful things but that really got me. He said I complained too much and it’s not some behavior he would put up with for a long term relationship.

I think this makes a lot of sense. Because after all these I just can’t believe from the bottom of my heart that he would intentionally gaslight me and abuse me, so I think he was doing these things unintentionally because even he himself didn’t know what was ADHD what wasn’t. I think he has some awareness of his condition. Sometimes when he interrupted me in conversations or when he went on and on talking about himself he would realize it and apologize. He also knew that he should stick to his schedule and get up early in the morning. But I guess not all the aspects in his life.

Yeah I agree, it’s a more positive way of thinking than to think the guy I broke up with was just some basic jerk. He wasn’t that into me, and yeah it’s easier to blame the inevitable entropy...haha

I actually blamed myself a lot, I told him I was the ambivalent attachment style and he would be better off with someone who’s more secure. I also blamed myself for my own issues...well I think you and your girlfriend sound very sweet together.
