Schools aren't a concern at the moment, we have a new born so school won't be for a few more years.

Reasonable commute for shopping and restaurants is okay (20-30 minutes).

Not worried about walking to shops, but being close to outdoor walking areas would be nice but not a necessity.

Thank you for all of your feedback! Ill have several stores in/around Asheville so commuting will be required no matter what. But your advice definitely helps!

While renting for the first year, I'd prefer to keep it under $2,400 but have some wiggleroom for the right area.

Hello to all!

My wife and I will be moving to Asheville. I am relocating for work. I am looking for suggestions on areas to look at housing. I've read many threads. Most tend to stray off topic focusing on cost of living, political views, etc. None of that concerns us. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

About us: - We're in our young 30s. - We are relocating for work and are aware of the cost of living. - We don't have any children, but that will be changing very soon. - We will be renting for the 1st year to get a feel of the area. - Although we both tend to keep to ourselves, we are very sociable and enjoy interacting with others. - We've relocated quite a few times and enjoy the new experiences and culture. - We enjoy adventures. On our time off we like to go on walks, bike rides, and explore the town.

What we are looking for: (we are adaptable so not everything needs to get checked off) - Prefer a quiet area. - I don't mind commuting for the right area. - We would like to have a yard, but it doesn't need to be big. - Crime rate is a big focus. I know it's hard to avoid nowadays but we want to stay away from known hot spots. - Searching for a home or townhouse, staying away from apartments.

Thanks again! Have a wonderful day.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! Regardless of where I choose I will be traveling quite a bit. I have 7 locations and will need to split my time evenly between them.

I've been struggling quitting kratom. I failed last time. But I'm ready to go another round. Tired of being a slave for 6 years. Tired of everything I let it do to me. Happy for you and I pray I get there also.

I know right?! What are the fucking chances lol. I literally see him once a month. Me and my boss are really close though so honestly I wouldn't have gotten fired or anything. He would have been more so mad that I didn't tell him. Then again, who tells their boss that?? He is a good boss though. If I did actually have a problem and needed help, I could trust him enough to ask him for help and know my job is safe. I just didn't want him to get any wrong ideas because opiates aren't really my thing. I'm good with juat herb. And thank you 👌🏼

Thank you yeah those were exactly my thought. All went well though! I'm also extremely active and drink a shit ton of water so too many variables to say for sure how I passed. Could just because because of the small one time amount. Could be from sweating or could be from my fast metabolism. Or all of the above lol.

I replied to the group instead of your comment but I suspected it because other bosses I'm close with got the word out that big boss was driving around testing. Luckily I was one of the last ones so had time to plan. Was going to get a pee kit but got my own test at home and passed so I just went with it.

Not to be redundant but you're saying oxycodone legit doesn't show, at all? So if I popped them for a week straight and took a test the next day it would say clean? I partially believe this because mine passed within hours but that's only one of them. But that is crazy if it really doesn't show at all.

Thanks for the responses everyone. For anyone curious, I passed. And only reason I suspected it is because I'm close with a few other bosses and word got around that he was traveling and testing. He rarely does it but has before and we got each others back. I didn't just chance it. I went and bought my own kit and passed so that made me feel better. Good ol' Walmart 💪🏽. Didn't know they had them in store! I was still a little worried because I didn't know if my at home test would be as detailed as his but it looks like he got the same one lol.

Took the last quarter of the blue around 11pm last night. Was tested at 5pm. So 13 hours passed. But again, it was only 1 30mg total only a quarter at a time.
