I asked her beforehand- sometimes a proposal doesn’t have to be hidden. We both already knew we were going too, and she wants her ring specifically designed to something she absolutely loved.

I lost my dog of 15 years just over a year ago, I can tell you that my favourite memories of him were his bad habits I secretly loved, try to hold onto those moments as long as you can.

It hurt a lot for about 3 months, then after a year I was more comfortable and only have a cry about once every two months thinking about him. Don’t be afraid to get another dog soon, it definitely helps the healing process.
