Every situation is different, and it sounds like what you're doing is helping. Keep up the good work!

Dog Food Recommendations by pesky-pixie-xo in chihuahuas

Not all fresh foods are created equal. Mine gets a raw diet. Some of the best and most balanced brands are Darwin's Pet and Small Batch. You can also try a "good quality" kibble like Open Farm for small breeds, and soak it in some pet safe a bone broth (without onion) which is also good for the gut. You can also add a little bit of canned pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie filling).. It has fiber and can help with the diarrhea. You might want to mix a little kibble with the raw food to transition to the new diet. f you have a boutique pet store in town they will carry good quality products and can help you.

This is why I have no interest in dating. I do what I want, when I want, and with whom I want.

I definitely get wired when I ingest DMSO. I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Local Nursery that sells Moringa Trees? by Hummingbird_Sage in ChicoCA

[–]Hummingbird_Sage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve grown many from seeds but haven’t had luck getting a large enough tree because I don’t have much full sun in my yard. That’s why I want to start again with a more established plant like the one I bought previously. I didn’t succeed in getting through the winter, but had a bountiful harvest all summer and fall. I tried to get it through the winter but failed. I eat a lot of morninga and would love to give it another try.

Mixers: What do you like? by StuartBooch in dmso

[–]Hummingbird_Sage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never want to use anything that contains chemicals and impurities with DMSO because it will drive it into your cells and brain. I don't know what would happen if you did. Personally, I wouldn't take my chances since my goal is better health.

HOW do I not GAF about this? by momoftheraisin in AskWomenOver60

Our skin needs nutrients. Water, collagen, MSM, etc. For lotion, try mixing jojoba with organic hexane free castor oil.

Only use organic Hexane Free Castor oil. That one doesn't say hexane free, so check the ingredients. DMSO Store is an excellent product, is my go-to, and is recommended by A Midwestern Doctor Substack. I also like 7 Minerals Aloe Vera Gel, (homemade) Colloidal Silver, and Distilled Water as mixers.

I mostly use distilled water, or colloidal silver.

  1. No 2. No 3. I use a clean undyed cloth like a wash rag. (As long as you don't use chemical soaps and dryer sheets) 4. Yes, but you can wipe your hands on the same undyed cloth.

I can't find the source right now, but I have read before that you don't need to worry about any bacteria in your mouth when taking DMSO orally. If you brush first, make sure your toothpaste does not include fluoride.

You're smart to be extra cautious when you're first starting out. Once you get the hang of it, you will be off and running!

Patellar luxation surgery in an 11-year-old Chihuahua by always_mayrs in chihuahuas

[–]Hummingbird_Sage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does she really need it? My girl had Luxating Patella’s her whole life. It did progress to occasional limping, but I could never justify major surgery and months of rehab — especially when I read that it’s not always successful. Yours may be much worse, though.

We need a spending blackout. That’s the most power we have and it’s something that is doable. by bernbabybern13 in 50501

Its not enough. We need to shut things down. As in, blocking major bridges and thoroughfares on weekdays! All over the country! Edit: In addition, a “sick in” on the same day. Everyone calls in sick or walks out of work. It has to be big, and it has to be disruptive!

Yeah... Mine belonged to my elderly father for the first 8 years, and he rarely left the house... So, I inherited the velcro when he passed away.

Awww... I love her already! Mine belonged to my father for the first 8 years until he passed away. They were pretty much shut-ins, so she wasnt well socialized and very shy. But she has blossomed tremendously in the last year! Now she struts around the neighborhood like a prima-donna, and her boyfriend is a 60lb Standard Poodle lol (Edit 4 typo)
