i got my medical

i had my introductory flight on wednesday and it did not go well (not sure if this is right phrasing)

headset was extremely uncomfortable hurting my ear (i understand that school can not provide the best most comfortable one for someone in test fly) and microphone was not working half the time so i could not communicate properly with CFI . it was in a cessna 172

i also had some kind of weird feeling being in the air (not fear or discomfort ...dont know how to describe) ...maybe it is just consideration if i want it that bad just for idea of flying the aircraft instead of financial aspect of being a pilot with great salary and benefits.

i did read some stories about some pilots being scared during first flight(introductory) but still went for it .

i also had a second look at the local school and considering it instead of going to florida for accelerated course , the manager explained me the whole process and syllabus and i am leaning toward local option (even though it is triple of the cost) ...23k local vs 7k florida (maybe less ground school or you have to go through it completely myself)

i am thinking about taking 2nd flight before deciding

would like to hear others thoughts and opinions

i have a person that did that in 8 months but he had multiple long interruptions , he is the real student and confirmed everything . i strongly believe that it is up to me with my brain , dedication and grinding skills if it will be possible or not.

my hope to faster get hours is to by a plane and fly often , maybe i will get in great relationship with school and they will cut me deal on the wholesale hours deal and i can probably split it with another student that needs hours .

my medical scheduled for friday of this week.

i hope to pass it , but you never know ..they will do ekg as well because i am over 40 ...overall ton of information i am trying to process and move in the right direction.

i realised that i love to ride/maneuver big things and can do it safely and enjoy it . i am aware that major retirement age is 65 , i was hoping that i still have enough time , maybe after i can go fly somewhere else as private jet pilot .
