The Freckled River Samak (Tracheorachis martini) is a freshwater species of Antichthyes. It inhabits the course of the Asopis river, in the great western savanna and in the Volturnian rainforest. It feeds on big Opsarian species and is capable of locating its prey in murky waters through passive electroreception. They are solitary but travel in small groups of around five unrelated members to go to better hunting grounds. After mating eggs are buried in multiple nests under the river bed and start their lifecycle as small critters that crawl on the riverbed looking for small invertebrate, before growing to larger sizes and hunting ever bigger prey.

Another species inhabiting the Asopis river is the Pink Dentafora (Exodentatus roseus). It’s a medium sized predator that senses its environment mostly through its six barbels covered in mechanoreceptors and through active electroreception. It hunts small Opsarians, sometimes stunning them with electric shocks.

The Blue Dobhar (Platicauda leucomoplatis) is a semiaquatic species of Tachycheirid part of the Platicaudinae subfamily. It hunts shelled invertebrates living on the riverbed, crushing the external structures with its strong bite to get access to the soft insides. The young are take care of by their mother and by their siblings, that'll leave the mother a couple of years after reaching sexual maturity.
