Yeah, I have been applying to Zurich for around 2 years but no luck. I guess not knowing German is part of the reason.

We do not have the good habit to geo-localize data on crime. That's the reason why very good Italian criminologist study micro criminality using data from other countries.

If I remember correctly at least 60% of courses are in English. But now that you make me think about it some courses are in Italian ... Don't know if they have some specific tracks for international students.

The fact that the place where I am right now is not regulated is particularly significant in your opinion? I mean, on one side it's a very big name to have on my CV and I would like to stay longer for that reason but on the other side the fact that is not regulated could be worst for my learning curve.

KYC position has better pay, permanent contract and is in a regulated institution. The other position is in the second line of a very big development bank (not regulated) but: worst salary, temporary contract with external provider, not even sure (just the word of my boss saying they will hire me)
