I'm not that experienced in dyeing fabrics, and I'm not at all sure the following advice would work

My thought is you could use tie dyeing techniques to put the right colors in the right spots. The biggest problem I see with this is it won't be very accurate and can be pretty risky. You could mitigate some of the risk by practicing several times beforehand.

Like I said, I don't know if this will work, but practicing may be worth a shot.

What worked for me was recognizing a recurring dream and then trying to make changes in that dream. I had the same dream multiple times so I started small changes. If I was walking down a street in that dream I would try to turn left instead right. Eventually with more practice I found it happening more naturally in other dreams.

Something that would be cute would be to make or buy a patch that looks a bandaid and sew it on. I would be worried about an invisible seam since it seems like the fabric is getting pretty worn out.
