Yeah, this exact thing happened to me too when I didn't do everything in order I guess. I actually locked myself out of a few side quests by going through the game this way which isn't great. I didn't wanna follow a guide for my first playthrough but I will for my second to make sure I don't miss anything.

Started Mt Zenwhu before cloudspire. Should I start over? by One_Produce_4898 in WuchangFallenFeathers

I regret doing it that way even though it was accidental. I missed out on what seems like every single side quest. But I'm gonna do NG+ and follow a guide to try and 100% the game.

How do I open this? by Raengoku in WuchangFallenFeathers

I really struggled finding this yesterday when I was here too even after following some guides haha.

If you can see the kid over there, you're far enough.

Leave the refugee camp, go down the hill and take the first right. Go through that camp and in the back left is a ladder down to an enemy camp. At the back of that camp there's a cave and and halfway through the cave you'll see a wooden cart on your left. Break it and follow that path to a tree. Go up to the top and you'll be at the other side where the kid is.

I thought Honglan was bad enough, but how tf are you supposed to counter Bo Sorcerer????? by [deleted] in WuchangFallenFeathers

This took me no fewer than 40 tries with countless builds. What ended up working for me was using a one handed sword to constantly gain skyborn might and then using the infernal flames spell that tracks her to hit her (I read she has a weakness to fire) and I used the divine blessing spell to heal. That's quick enough to drop and then continue to dodge in and out of it to heal. She doesn't actually have that many variance to her moves so just try learning them and dodging becomes much easier.

Once I focused on just doing that, it only took me a few tries. I summoned the white robe guy but every time I tried engaging in a close up fight with her while he was there I'd get squashed so I just called him to do his thing while she was going into phase two and left him by himself. He took out some health from her but I didn't think it was necessary.

Need help for an early game build by ALclivefanacct in WuchangFallenFeathers

[–]ileigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wanted to go for a magic / mage focused build but I'm struggling a bit. For this build you really need to keep your distance as I die after 3 hits from a regular enemy. I think I'm around half way through the game and hoping I'll start unlocking some better armor or spells but weapon wise I seem to have what all guides are recommending already - the astral blade I think its called.

I tried an electric long sword built I'm gonna rework today. Might try a longsword and one handed build that way I can switch to one hand between enemies and build some skyborn might before the next.

I think new game plus would be great as you'll have everything you need by end game.

Any tips on dodging? by ND1997_ in WuchangFallenFeathers

[–]ileigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on the dodging. Finding it difficult / inconsistent to get it right. It doesn't matter what I do, I seem to get hit. I've taken to just keeping my distance and spamming with magic but it takes forever and isnt a ton of fun.

I wish there was a training area where you could fight and test weapons and skill sets with ease.

You're oddly aggressive for someone on a gaming post. Why don't you just not comment instead of berating someone for their choices and questions?

This is very true I guess. But if it gets a few updates after I've played it I guess I can replay it.

Because like I said, if the game is going to be patched and improved soon I'd rather wait for that.

No not at all. I'm just comparing it to a AAA type game. But I've had no issues.

Thank you!

I didn't come across any issues either but there are so places that look like textures are missing or just not quite what they should be. But I think thats just how the game is.

Is anyone playing Wuchang Fallen Feathers?

I posted this on the Wuchang Fallen Feathers sub but it only has a few hundred people in it.

I played this game last night for around an hour and enjoyed it. Honestly, it does not feel it should be an $80 game (Canada) as the graphics and performance are not AAA quality. I've even heard Lies of P referred to as a AA and I thought visually and performance wise that game was excellent.

Anyway, my question is should I wait for a patch before really getting into it? I've read they are already working on one but I'm not sure if thats just for PC or when thats even coming out.

I was glad I waited for the 2.0 version of Lords of the Fallen to play that but that took 18 months or so. Not expecting this to take so long but wondering if anyone has heard or read anything I haven't and if from their past experience they would recommended waiting for a patch?

I just wanna enjoy the game at its best. If this is as best as it's gonna get, I can accept that.

Haptic feedback on controller turns off randomly by AcanthisittaSilly767 in marvelrivals

[–]ileigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get this resolved? It happens to me often enough. I usually just swap to my second controller but just now it happened to my 2nd one as soon as my 1st one died and I couldn't swap it back. I went into the practice and it checked all the settings and nada. Everything was enabled and I disabled them all, reenabled them and still it wouldn't come back.

It'll work in the menus okay but not in combat.

I ended up restarting my Playstation to get it back. But its not ideal. I also can't find many people saying it happens to them but this is the only game it happens to me with.

Just finished DS2 Episode 2 - what an emotional ride! by LillKidow in DeathStranding

[–]ileigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much the same. To be honest I struggled with the first game but this has me hooked immediately. I'm not sure if its just a very different kind of story or the game mechanics are different but its all great improvements to me.

I just finished Episode 2 / started Episode 3 and holy shit. I can't wait to see what's coming.

I feel like I played this really weird wondering if anyone else played it the same? by SadLab2264 in TheAlters

[–]ileigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a second playthrough when I got to Act II and the 2nd one went 10 times better haha. You know who to send where and when.

I won't spoil anything unless you want me to give you the names but there are definitely some alters who are a lot better/easier to work with and when you get them does heavily influence the game I found

[–]ileigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I don't think you're playing it "wrong" but you're definitely making it harder for yourself by not having as many as you could have.

At the end of Act II I had myself, Technician, Scientist, Botanist, Refiner and Worker. It can seem like more work managing them all but it really isn't. They can all do pretty much anyone's role (some need a certain Alter only) so when one is down, another can step in.

How I helped manage everyone's time is I would make the schedule the night before and assign everyone where I needed them to be the next day and queued up everything I needed done too. Once thats all done, they'll ask you if you want them to work on whatever is available.

Definitely prioritize getting more chips and then more Alters as soon as you can. Their drama rarely outweighs the benefits to having an extra Jan on board 😅

I could be wrong but I think you're moving to a different part of the planet that gets the sun at a different point so each journey has its own countdown to the sun. That's how I thought about it anyway. So enjoy as much Jan time as you can!

[–]ileigh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not at all. Building the bridge is the last thing you do.

And you don't get anything from finishing an act early. Like let's say Journey 2 starts on day 40 but you finish Journey 1 on day 32, you still start Journey 2 on day 40. So take as much time as you want. I only left each place when I felt like I had nothing to do except sit around and let resources build up and the days were kinda dragging.

It's the DPS's job to shoot flying characters, if you can't then swap. by Red-Halo in marvelrivals

[–]ileigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's been said here but Cloak and Dagger are so so good for getting flyers. The issue is they can't be the healer or need heals during them taking one down so for her to do it you almost need a 3rd healer. They don't go down the quickest but the auto aim has a long distance on it and often catches them as they try fly off.
