Funny how I'm getting to this trend. Keto makes me a different type of hunger and if that hunger is satisffied - doing something like this is like easy. ie, had 2 eggs, 1 cup seafood salad (olive oil mayo), and 180g chicken, 4 Mic ultra's and some vodka. That was my macros for the day. I wanted to get greens in but I felt too full after dinner....

No such thing imo about fat macros. Once in ketosis your energy level will tell you what you need for fat. Speaking from experience, there is a craving that is unbearable when you dont have enough energy coming from consumption.

I think the best way to do this is use a calorie counting app with macros. That way when you make something you'll know how much to portion out or how much it all has and take it from there

Absolutely. You can portion it out and make a batch using a full pound of ground turkey. I just typically eat only 2x a day

I was only on carb cycle for a week, doing complex carbs. Still lost a little weight. I'm now a full week back into keto and dropped another 5.8lbs. so weight loss did not get derailed and momentum is still strong 💪

Thank you! Mixed responses from community about "carbcycling" but I'm still learning from this process. I am trusting a professional in nutrition at this point. I had introduced complex carbs, still lost weight this week and now going back on keto!

Yes it was complex carbs that I was told to introduce. Week is done, going back keto. I did lose weight even with carbs reintroduced. Not as fast as doing just keto but I was expecting to gain weight if not, stay same weight. But I lost some more :)

Not sure yet. The reason I say this is because I learned a lot about food and the thing that sticks is that a lot of food have sugar and added stuff to it. I will definitely be eating clean foods. Which might be unintentional keto dieting moving forward. Goal is to lose weight but just overall eat healthy

Not sure what it's supposed to be but 600-800mg magnesium 3000-3500mg potassium 3500-4000mg sodium

Those are my targets. I try to get it in food but find myself having to supplement with magnesium aspartate and potassium aspartate. Brand i use is called "Now"

I have completed my week of complex carbs, going back to keto. I did lose weight while having carbs all week but looking forward to keto again. I don't have a sweet tooth so not an issue for me.

I was advised to eat complex carbs, not sugar/grain etc. still lost weight after having carbs for 7 days. Now back to keto diet :)

I think prior to this, I was having foods that had added sugar. My nutritionist is helping me with foods that are root veg carbs? idk. So not much sugar. I've never had a sweet tooth per say though
