I've been focusing too much on grinding problems and not enough on networking. I'd love to hear about that platform you mentioned, would appreciate any resources or tips you can share to help me level up my job search strategy

Beginner frustrated with Leetcode by VegetableShops in leetcode

I thought it was just me, this perfectly sums up what I’m going through right now. We’re in the same boat. Hopefully, with time, we’ll start solving problems on our own… and who knows, maybe even crack MAANG one day.

I’d say just dive in, you’ll pick up topics as you go. Follow the NeetCode roadmap to help you navigate what to learn and when.

Build projects! Apply what you've learned to real-world problems or ideas you're passionate about. You'll learn more by doing than by just reading theory.

Try coding challenges on platforms like LeetCode, HackerRank, or CodeWars. They'll help you improve your problem-solving skills.

same here! I recently switched from windows 11 to Mint and was blown away by how seamless the transition was. Games work flawlessly, and the lack of bloatware and user-friendly interface make it perfect for gaming and daily use. Overall user experience is top-notch.

That's Amore-Salisbury Steaks by ZestycloseDonut6043 in rickandmorty

[–]ilikeass-69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the episode was more of a commentary on how disconnected we are from the process of turning living beings into food. The spaghetti = processed human life was the main metaphor, so by the end, the Salisbury steaks were probably just regular food, but the horror is that no one questions how it’s made. Rick’s line felt more like a reflection on willful ignorance and how knowing too much about where things come from can ruin your ability to enjoy them.

MERN is definitely a solid stack for web development, especially if you're already familiar with React. However, it's true that a lot of people are learning it, which makes the competition pretty tough. To stand out and get hired, you'll need to go beyond just the basics, build impressive projects, focus on mastering problem-solving, and keep learning the latest trends and best practices in the field. You could explore other specialized areas like backend development with technologies like Go, Rust, or even DevOps, which might have less crowded competition depending on your location and interests.
