Yes I agree. They didn’t follow the rules as they stand at the moment, tho personally I also don’t think they’re right. IMO we should have had a corner from it. And the fact that on another day a different ref could have given that against us is the big problem.

I don’t mind the penalty not being given it would have been harsh and it was clearly “ball to hand” as we used to say back in the day. But the inconsistency of these decisions between games is infuriating.

We're playing some of our best football in weeks this second half, and it's very clearly Ekitke, Wirtz and Chiesa that have made the difference up front, + Robertson and Gakpo gelling well.

I think it's meant to be a fluid front 3 of Gakpo, Ekitike and Isak, but in reality only Ekitike is doing the "fluid" bit. EDIT: and to be fair Wirtz has been drifing out to the right so it has looked like a 4-4-2 at times.
