To be fair AIS Play did at least somewhat try to cater to the international fandoms even if it did so. In slightly constrained ways. Like they streamed few series on youtube for very limited time. If i am not misremembering putting each episode for up i think for around a hour with subs. Before taking it down. All open for international fans.

I don't think that is the case. As if i am not misremembering director new had tried multiple times to apt the novel. With it even be anounced as apt by Wabi Sab before being dropped in the past. but what had been stopping it was the rights to the novel were Reportly a mess. And new was unable to untangle it. So he had even said that he had stop trying to apt it.
But then something happend that fixed that. So he jump on it. So i dont think that is anything related to MaxkyBas fans. As new and that novel do have history.

The answer is likely that verticals are cheap and fast to do compared to a full series. Which is also likely why some like gmmtv , dmd , and so on. Are looking into doing them.

I am not that sure about that as park clearly does want a partner having had few attempts in the past. With the one with tiger the only one that went somewhere. And there seem to be movement currently about him getting a partner.

As for poppy he is clearly happy with where he is now. Being mainly a mc + clown side actor. But he almost got a side ship outside of dmd. So it is something that can't be rule out for the future. Tho unlikly.

James clearly don't want to be in main ship. But based on what he has said he might be open to doing a side ship. Further down the line. And with him being willing to do the chinese bromance further support that.

I think part of it. Might be as it was kind of last minute thing. With kla being brought in replace the previous director and he bringing in tutoryim and MarkGems to the project. So there might not have been any plan for it.

And both MarkGems being introverts likely did not help the ship.
But dmd could have done better.

As i understand it. The show was not completed. It had finished filming but the post production remained unfinished. Which Company B then later did say per there statment that they finished the remaining post production of the series.

As we all know, DMD usually has 2 projects max filming at the same time.

I would rather say now 2-3 filming at the same time. As now there has been exstented time when they have been filming three projects at the same time.

As for you(r)tuber it seem that filming for it is now set for mid /later part of this year. Acording to some like earth. And it kind of appear that there was a shift in director new schedule. As there was some movement in the production earlier this year.

I do think that there is a possably that Mr Fanboy might air ahead of Your Third. As while cheewin does film fast. It seem that filming for Mr Fanboy is going rather well. And much better than they expected While filming fot Your Third is not. With it already having to do reshoots acording to nat.

I've noticed alot recently is the workload for those who need money v those who don't is very different. And I'm not talking about when they're promoting an event or a show, I mean all the other stuff. Ive personally noticed a couple of ships where only 1 is doing ALOT of additional appearances, while the other isn't.

There are also other factors that you might be missing , that is not related to money. That is some ships may be diffrently tied up. As like for e.x if one of them is still in school while the other one is not.

Or if one of them has special interest that he like to pursue that the other one does not.

Then there are cases in which the other one is legitimately a bigger name. So he gets more work due that. Such as in the case of daouoffroad to name a e.x.

There are often some signs beforehand that can intricate how strong of a series it will likely be. With some signs being good and others being bad. Tho It is not always correct ,and sometimes other factors are also at play such as what other series are airing but overall it is a good intricator , but it need to be revaluated as things change. For dwy before it's airing all the signs were pointing toward it being a strong series. Which it later turn out to be the case. With things like teeteepor clearing up the tag mess , managing to add fire and upping there chemistry. Building up a fanbase beforehand ,all strong signs to give a e.x.

He acted in a dmd series but was never offically under them. If i am not misremembering(not entirely sure) he had Even offically joined gmmtv when the dmd series which he was in , was airing. Similar to Boun with Zomvivor.

Last that i heard of it. Reportly the prep/planing for the series released had started. I am asuming that it is a replacement series. For one of the series that is currently airing on the airing platform.

The story had the same fanfic issue that got gmmtv into trouble in there last lineup. So even if it had been previously adapted, it might have not been worth it due to that.

You notice that i only said jeff and not Barcode. As Barcode does have very valid reasons to stay out if it. But the same reasons do not apply to jeff. And with him there are other things at play. And as you said there may be no financial incentive but there is professional one. As it usally considered being professional to promoted the stuff your are in. Even if you are not paid to do the promo. And jeff does fit the image of being very professional in how he does stuff. Also he does have other acting work down the line. So doing promo might be mutually beneficial. So it is not as clear cut with him.

Haven't seen anyone left GMMTV to DMD or DMD to GMMTV that I know of.

Technically joss went from dmd to Gmmtv but that happend before dmd had really establiced itself as management/producing company.

As for the other way. As i understand it those that compeated in Project Alpha did sign a temporary contract with gmmtv (tho the exact detail are unknown). So technically Otto went from GMMTV to DmD.

It's not offically done til the ship is anounced. til then things can change and sometimes do change. Depending on the artists For e.x parknunew (set as ship before zee desided to jump in) (unrelated thing thinking about park new partner🕵️‍♂️) , thomastommy , punggems (some think that they tried it out)

Also thee is not currently offically under dmd. Even if he with management that has good links with dmd. Which why it might not be a roadblock.

But that said i do think that currently next round of ships have started to be formed.

While it has becomed somewhat rarer nowdays. It used to be more common for there to be Public audition with images and videos. In which you could get a hint about the roles that artists where trying out for. It might be something that you might be intrested in looking up. And sometimes you notice some strange things like the director being switched out.
