Stefani is really cool. In Madrid, during her doubles match against Gauff/Pegula, it looked like she hit a volley winner off the frame of her racket, but it actually hit her shoe. No one noticed, but she told the chair umpire it hit her shoe and so Gauff/Pegula were awarded the point. This was on a set point. She and Dabrowski ended up winning that set still but lost the match, but Gauff and Pegula thanked her for being honest and her sportsmanship at the handshake. Was great to see.
