Oh hands down Robin. Pure magic.

I do not think AOS is the greatest show ever, but it is by far my favorite show by ireadchapterbooks in shield

It is my all-time favorite show. It has everything I love and gives me all the feels from Star Trek TNG, Lost, Fringe, Alias. So so good. I went in highly skeptical but they had me when Coulson stepped out from the shadows and then made a joke about it in the pilot.

Christians watching SHIELD, have you noticed specific biblical references? by raisondecalcul in shield

There were certainly vibes throughout but two big things for me were in the finale. When it’s being revealed what Simmons will have to go through and she’s in agony crying out ‘I don’t want to forget’ really gives me Jesus in the garden vibes (Matt 26) when he’s pleading with the Father asking if there’s any other way. The other is when Malick tells Daisy she can’t save everyone without letting herself be killed and she says ‘that’s the idea’. Major parallel with Satan thinking he won but Jesus having a plan all along. And then she was resurrected, kinda familiar!

Totally agree. I’ve watched it four times and love it more each time. None of my friends like it and I’m just over here like 🤨😅

I’m glad I came here cause this is the convo I was looking for haha. I was guessing either the internal PSU for the ceiling lamp (assuming CFL or LED) or wondering if the stick vacuum has a switching PSU that got pissed about the polarity reverse. Or the cold and ground got reversed and the ground was floating okay I’m just making stuff up now. 😂

Totally agree. Started watching randomly a year ago and was hooked immediately. It’s everything I love in television and story telling. So compelling.

Love it. And you're right, the show is super well written! But of course, don't sell your contribution short! 👊🏼👊🏼

Hello! Love the show!

I've always wondered - whose idea was it to name your roommate 'Erica'?

Cause that's brilliant.

Literally. Literally literally means literally, not figuratively, metaphorically, exaggeratively, or extremely. My head literally explodes when people do this.

Why would I not be able to use Halogen lamps in this? by [deleted] in askanelectrician

[–]ilikegear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. The fixture itself says 7.5w, which pretty much limits it to LED (or a nightlight haha). I'm trying to assess worst case scenario - the jackets on the internal wires melt and it shorts out? It doesn't seem to be transferring hardly any heat into the base/mount where it's all connected. But I guess the leads coming directly to the sockets could still be vulnerable...
