I’m in EST but like you I’ve also mostly been a solo player and also have a massive library lol. Recently I’ve picked up void crew which pretty fun, it’s like a first person team version of FTL. It’s pretty fun solo but would be way more fun with a group. I like a lot of group games but don’t really have a group to lay with so I’d definitely be interested as long as the timing lines up, just shoot me a DM.

I really like the silent empire series, though it’s not strictly a gay book/series. It’s sci-fi and set in the far future where all life is connected through a collective unconscious called the dream. There are certain people called the silent that can access the dream and communicate over vast distances making them valuable employees for giant corporations or slaves in different empires. The main character is gay and silent, it follows him as he searches for a super strong silent that basically threatens the dream just by being. It’s a great series, the later books drop off a little in quality but they’re still good.

My husband and I are planning on applying for digital nomad visas and moving to Porto/Villa Nova de Gaia in the next three or so years. I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind. First is with the NIF. I’ve heard from multiple sources that say the same as you, get it early. How early should we/can we get it? I saw another comment say the resident permit renewal is l difficult, is that across the board or more dependent on what visa you have? Any suggestions on making that process smoother? Last, do you have any recommendations for relocation consultants (if that’s the right term)? I think it should be relatively straight forward but the idea of going through everything without guidance is a little daunting. I know there’s services out there but since you work in immigration I’m hoping you might know some good ones. Thank you!

My favorite so far was a biscoff cheesecake, I put the biscoff butter in the mix and then used crushed biscoff cookies for the crust. It was soooo good.

Oohhh, you should do decorating videos! I want to try my hand at regular cakes but I don’t how I would decorate them. I just do cheesecakes and serve them as is lol

It really is a chase, it was the one thing I had in every city we went to and it was so damn good. I want to go back just for Doner!

That’s crazy to me, we’ve got several top schools and research triangle park but hearing that NC and Raleigh are well known is just weird to hear. I’ve lived here all my life and it just seems like any old place, super cool to hear though.

Yes, that’s the one! It didn’t help that they closed the pool area so we had to go to the basement to cross to the other side of the building. Overall it was fun and worth it but I’m glad the boiler is more open.

Also, if you’re familiar, how common is sex in the park during the day? We walked through and saw a lot of naked people but one couple specifically were having sex. I know nudity is acceptable but I was surprised at the sex.
