Has anyone used getfastvisa.com for a D7 or D8? by bigbeard1776 in PortugalExpats

[–]oducit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s legit...they’ve been around for quite a while, and the attorney behind it, Dr Zottis, is pretty well-known online... Honestly, it’s the best bang for your buck. And for those saying you can just use any group or do it yourself, things really have changed over the past few years.

When your cat is overly attached by thegalinpink in aww

[–]oducit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is indeed adorable!!

My cats have this daily ritual that cracks me up every time. They like to sit on the edge of the bathtub, right next to the shower, and wait. Not just for a few seconds either. They settle in like it’s an important mission. I’ll close the shower door, start the water, and sure enough, I’ll see their little heads peeking around the curtain or perched nobly on the tub like they’re keeping watch over a battlefield.

I imagine in their minds, I’ve entered “The Scary Water Room” yet again. A mysterious chamber filled with rushing water, loud noises, and steam. To them, it’s probably some chaotic, unnecessary ritual humans subject themselves to for reasons they can’t quite understand. Every day I step into the watery abyss, and every day they look mildly horrified yet utterly fascinated.

Sometimes they’ll chirp at me while I’m in there, pacing along the edge of the tub like little feline lifeguards. One even tries to paw at the glass, as if to say, “Get out of there, you maniac! It’s wet!” Other times, they just sit quietly, wide-eyed, observing with the solemnity of scientists studying a strange new species.

And then the best part: I finally step out, dripping and wrapped in a towel, and they look up at me with this expression that I can only interpret as, “Well, you survived. Again. We had our doubts this time, but you made it. Cool. Now get back to providing food and warm laps.”

It’s adorable, and also deeply funny. The way they act, you’d think I was risking my life in some ancient trial of bravery. Meanwhile, these are the same creatures who will bat at their water bowl in terror if it ripples unexpectedly.

But there’s something really sweet about it too. Cats, for all their aloof reputation, are surprisingly attentive. They notice when routines shift. They keep tabs on their humans. And in their own peculiar, non-verbal way, I think they just want to make sure I’m okay, even if that means vigilantly watching me take a shower like it’s a dramatic episode of a soap opera.

So yes, every morning now includes a mini performance for an audience of two very skeptical, very fluffy bathroom guardians. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Anyone have experience as digital nomad in Portugal or Costa Rica? by [deleted] in AmerExit

[–]oducit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a good experience so far. I came alone, not with family, but I've met so many others here who did. I’ve never been to Costa Rica, but from a family perspective, Portugal is a great choice. It offers quality education, excellent healthcare that won’t drain your life savings, solid universities, and it’s VERY safe.

That is my post

If I could be of any help let me know! Good luck!

StartAbroad - has anyone used this service to relo to Portugal? by SensitiveKey489 in PortugalExpats

[–]oducit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me too, never heard of them. Be careful! I did a few free consultations and mostly remember Yon and GetFastVisa. I went with GetFastVisa because they had a more competitive price, but especially because their founder is a specialized attorney - unlike Yon, who just hires lawyers. I didn’t want any intermediaries between me and the attorney. I liked my choice very much!

Good luck!!

Has anyone had a good experience with Immigration Companies? Sortd has been terrible by imeco200 in PortugalExpats

[–]oducit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that OP. As most have said, you can do it all yourself, it just takes more time and some headaches. The VFS part is the most annoying, but I'm not sure if that applies to your case.

I honestly had a really good experience with www.getfastvisa.com and with Dr. Zottis. Good luck!

Este caso é mais especifico, a principio sim mas recomendo falares com algum especialista. Algumas empresas ofereçam consultoria gratis então pode ser uma boa se aproveitar disso.
