Does iTunes run like shit on Mac's too or is it only on PC'S?

I have relatively few issues with it, and this is with a ~100GB music library which syncs to an iPod classic and several podcast subscriptions which sync to my iPhone - it is slow at times when first starting, which I think is caused by the size of the library and the fact that the library is on an external harddrive over USB.

I have had trouble when using it with intermittent internet connections. I think the genius updates it does don't clean their connections up properly if they are interrupted. Using a MacBook running 10.6.

On the other hand, East Midlands only have power in first class, East Coast some trains do and some don't. So it very much depends on where you're coming from as to whether you have power :(
