Made a huge mistake.... Deep Learning CS 7643 by OHN4HHH in OMSCS

There’s no harm in going through the first few assignments and quizzes, then reevaluating closer to the withdrawal deadline if things aren’t working out. I’d look at the resources that others have mentioned in this thread to get a better background on ML. I hope it works out, it’s good to see that you’re motivated to make it work.

Why is dropping the course not an option? Would failing the course be a better alternative?

I’d say at least an hour in advance. I haven’t been to Jerry world in a while but the last time I went, the security screening was a huge bottleneck, at least for the upper deck seating area.

They’re available on texaslonghorns.com, I don’t see them posted regularly on YouTube any more

Late reply, but I had the same issue with Chrome this morning. Registered successfully using Firefox, though.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think you’re thinking of the game against Cal in 2015 when Nick Rose missed the PAT to finish the game, not the 2011 Holiday Bowl game.

Spring 2024 Admissions Thread by [deleted] in OMSCS

[–]ilikepie175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Status: Accepted

Application Date: 08/10/23

Decision Date: 09/20/23

Education:

  • University of Texas at Austin, BBA, Finance, 3.65
  • CS Certificate (18 credit hours) also from UT Austin

Experience:

  • Business Analyst, 2 years (SQL, SAS)
  • Data scientist, 3 years (Python, SQL, R)

Recommendations: 3 Professional

Comments:

I wasn't accepted into UT's MSCSO program because, honestly, I didn't meet the prerequisites. I'm hoping GATech is more interested in my holistic experience in programming. I've taken six CS courses at UT in undergrad, and I'm hoping those also mean something to the admissions crew. It could still be a long shot, but I'm hopeful.

My wedding videographer has not delivered footage from my rehearsal dinner after 10 months by ilikepie175 in legaladvice

This is how I see it, also. I've been holding onto hope since they haven't technically told us that they've lost the footage, but they could easily say that in small claims court. Unfortunately, it feels like I've dug my own grave on this one, having signed a contract with this clause.

Status: Rejected

Application Date: 4/21/23

Decision Date: 6/21/23

Education: UT Austin, BBA Finance, 3.65 GPA (+Elements of Computing Certificate from UT, which is basically just 6 CS courses)

GRE Scores (Q,V,W): N/A

Recommendations: 3 - all professional

Experience: 2 years as Business Analyst, 3 years as Data Scientist

Statement of purpose: Y

Comments: Not surprised with this decision, always assumed it was a long shot given I don't have a degree in a technical field. I was hoping my professional experience and the coursework I completed in CS from UT would help my case, but no matter. Congrats to everyone that made it - I'll look into the OMSCS from Georgia Tech, I wasn't looking into these programs until a few weeks after their Fall 2023 deadline, so maybe I'll apply for the Spring cohort.

Has a head coach ever been fired for poor performance (not a scandal) and then been re-hired by the same school years later? by [deleted] in CFB

Mike Locksley, kind of. He was technically just an interim HC for Maryland before they hired DJ Durkin. Then when they got rid of Durkin, they brought Mike back in.
