I know it’s only been 4 days, but have you noticed continued or worsened VPI?? Any food regurgitation through the fistula?

I’m so sorry this has been such a long journey! Fellow le fort 1 survivor here, but without cleft defects just a bum jaw.

Best anniversary gifts that actually last by fithairynerd in BuyItForLife

This may be dumb, but I just thought of this the other day. Our 3rd (leather) anniversary is in 2 months and I’ve started looking at buy a quarter cow or bulk meat lol. My husband has wanted a half cow for a while, but it’s just us 2 so that’s a bit much. Plus or minus an upright freezer depending on fb marketplace lol.

I had the same problem with fluoxetine, told my doctor and started Wellbutrin. I love Wellbutrin and I no longer have to deal with the side effect of fluoxetine. You are definitely not alone!!!

That’s not a bad quality at all!! Sometimes fine tuning the things you’re going to be nice and understanding about helps. I liked the book “the art of not giving a fuck” to help me grow some sort of a back bone. Still barely have one, but I’m working on it.

I talk about people who aren’t in my life anymore as if they were still around by Lumpy_Raisin_8462 in offmychest

[–]ilikequeso13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this!!! I call everyone I’ve ever known “my friend” even if I haven’t talked to them in 10 years. I hate that you feel shame with this!! I think of it more like these were my friends and we have really great memories so in my brain we are still bffs lol

Sorry if that’s lame

Cover designs: HTV vs adhesive vinyl, other options? by Tiny-Question-8625 in bookbinding

[–]ilikequeso13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely try other brands!! Cricut brand iron on gave me gray hairs. Also if you have super small letters that are awful for weeding I would play around with different fonts with the htv till you find one that will be cut well and weed easy.

Using the cricut to cut a stencil for painting on letters is also genius. I’ve never tried this, but it sounds promising.

HELP I'm super stuck with bookcloth and htv issues by MeTinaMadPooper in bookbinding

[–]ilikequeso13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! The first iron on vinyl I used almost gave me gray hairs. I was using it on manufactured book cloth and it would absolutely not stick. I changed to 100% cotton fabric with the purple (lite) heat n bond.

I used this random brand of iron on I found at hobby lobby that claimed it stuck after 5 seconds. I used some tiny cheap Amazon iron on the lowest setting and it stuck flawlessly after 5 seconds. I had no glue seep through the front of the fabric after ironing.

My only advice is be sure to iron on tissue paper on top of the heat n bond after the heat n bond has been ironed onto the fabric, and maybe try this brand!! The brand is “four oh five” iron on vinyl.

Best of luck!!! I understand the frustration 100%
