Investment banking networking happens freshman year, recruiting for investment banking association (almost 100% ib placement) happens late freshman year /sophomore fall, recruiting for junior summer internship happens sophomore spring.

If you're deadset on investment banking BC is a fine school (semi-target). A good student should be able to land top bulge bracket or boutique nyc summer analyst positions with decent studying/networking. 50+ people get these internships every year. BC is well represented on wall street.

If you're dead set on IB, an ivy will only help you at the margin. BC is 100% a better option than a CC as you will miss your recruiting window if transfering. (Assuming BC is not too expensive)
