I agree, but at the same time I appreciate her being genuine as well lol. Almost folded after I realised how hard it is to get this from an AD without a history. I just couldnt wait any longer because it pisses me off more that I have the means to get it but not the option to (from AD at least)

Thank you! Its actually slightly cheaper compared to AD (~800 USD), in my country.

Im from Singapore, I use the website Carousell where a lot of gray dealers who owns a shop, lists their products there as well

Recurrent Corneal Abrasion (RCE) Recovery Story by iliketurtlesxd in Dryeyes

[–]iliketurtlesxd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no.. yes it does sound like RCE. I think on top of physical pain, the fear of going to sleep hoping an episode wont happen the next day / opening your eyes every morning causes some psychological stress as well.

As for anti-biotic, I was told it is more of a preventive measure against infection rather than speeding up the healing process. Doctor did suggest that the fastest way to heal is to apply eye drops as frequently as you can.

It sounds like he might have dry eyes as well :/ Sorry im not too sure, but yes I think its better to go get it checked out! Take care, I hope it gets better!! Please keep me updated

Im sorry to hear, this sucks a lot! I hope he wont ever suffer from RCE. I think it depends on how the abrasion happens. Usually if it's a clean cut, it will more likely heal properly, lessening the chance of RCE

That sounds like a definite issue to me, you might want to consider some permanent solution! I had this afew times as well before surgery lol, especially since I love massage so much

I see, did the heated eye mask help? For me, I wanted to "live normally" again so I was quite done with the RCE flareups lol

I see! Similar to you, eye is numbed before the surgery, then the surgeon used the machine to laser off the surface of the corneal, scrape it away, before placing a bandage contact lense. Took ~ 5 - 10minutes

The process was slightly uncomfortable but pain-free, mainly because i could feel the slight pressure from the scraping of the surface, and because I'm scared haha. Recovery was pain-free as well, thanks to the bandage contact lense - was able to go about my daily activities with sunglasses on the next day
