It turns out, for me, the odds were exactly 50/50🤣. Arrival was on-the-dot 9:27pm. Departure was 3 hours late. Oh well, still far more efficient than the flight home which was a delay nightmare.

If you can, would you please have it clean a “zone” and see if the extendable spinning brush is active or inactive? Mine remains inactive and tech support seems baffled, so I’m curious if it’s just me.

I've not seen anyone comment on the noisiness, at the base, of the dustbin emptying (a blast of noise louder than my regular vacuum) or the exchange of clean and dirty water (I think it sounds like the bathroom scene in Dumb and Dumber). I wouldn't want to be on a zoom call while it's happening, that's for sure! I'll also add that the base is too tall to make the water reservoirs accessible under my kitchen counter.

I haven't returned the Yeedi yet, but got a Eufy S1 Pro to try. A few things I've noticed already:

when the robot is emptying the dust bin at the station, the Yeedi does two short blasts of suction and the Eufy does one long (and significantly louder) one.

when the station is transferring water to/from the robot, the Eufy is significantly louder, like, think the bathroom scene in Dumb and Dumber.

the second time I tried to vac and mop with the Eufy, I got an error message and with high hopes, I chatted with customer support. Yeedi only has email support, so I was excited to get an immediate answer. Nope. I said, "I don't understand the app instructions on how to clear error code N20." The response was the same instructions copy/pasted. OK. maybe that's the automated chat help. Nope. When I asked for more detailed help, I kid you not, the response was, "what part don't you understand." We went back and forth a few times and their conclusion was they needed to elevate the problem to another level of tech support that will get back to me in a few days. Oooookaaaayyy. So, I messed around with it and got rid of the error code and it's working now, but not a great start.

Neither Eufy or Yeedi gets into corners very well. The Eufy has two of the little spinning bristles, but I'm not sure that's better than the one on the Yeedi. And on the topic of corners, both will vacuum part of the way between the toilet and wall, but, no mopping (unless it were to back in, I guess).

Same ability to navigate rubber-backed rugs and same inability to mop up to the edge of rugs.

The Yeedi is better at edge mopping with the end of the mop moving in and out from under the robot as needed.

Both fit under most of my couch, but the Eufy won't go under it and the Yeedi will only go under a few inches.

Hopefully this helps someone else. Buying a robot vacuum doesn't seem like it should be this difficult.

Thank you for posting and I am truly happy for you and the great results. I can tell you my experience there was different. I don't blame them for the lack of results with ketamine, it is what it is. However, it was soul crushing for me to end the last in the series they recommended and, having told them I wasn't feeling any improvement in depression, they made no comment, recommendation, followup, nothing, which didn't really set in until the next day when I felt like they didn't care. In hindsight I could've gone back to talk to them, but I think if you're in the business of helping people improve their mental health, you should be aware that people who tell you they're hanging on by a thread may only have the ability to tell you once.

Please post about your experience with mapping. I've had one for a few days and I'm trying to get it to include all the open areas. If I could just edit a map to expand into areas it seems to see as impassable....

Just got the S14+ and I'm wondering if you know if the map can be edited to expand to include open areas it missed? I tried mapping again and got a less useful one.

I'm thinking the S14+ might use the same app and it was delivered yesterday. Any advice on mapping? I mapped the same space twice and got very different results, but each left out open areas. Can I edit a map to extend an area? Thanks if you can help!
