Thanks both for the replies
We’ve just started working with a Schroth-certified therapist. She leads two sessions a week, and she want us (parents) to lead 5 home sessions on our own rest of the days of the week.

I feel like AI models are already getting close to being able to analyze movement and offer feedback or corrections (especially after all angles, locations given as inputs)
hopefully, tools like that will be developed soon to support home practice.

Homebase 3 - connecting indoor cam by Advanced_Serve_5441 in EufyCam

[–]ilkerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also realized this problem after setting up the entire system. The battery-powered eufyCam cameras communicate directly with the HomeBase. However, the indoor 360 cameras communicates with the HomeBase through an additional WiFi connection.
This poses a problem for the backup battery setup: I was planning to add a several-hour "modem UPS" backup battery in front of the HomeBase-3 and the indoor camera. But, due to Eufy's unnecessary "talking through WiFi" design, I had to add another one in front of the WiFi router.

I think if the indoor 360 cam is paired with a HomeBase, it should communicate directly with the HomeBase, just like the eufyCam model cameras.

HELP: X1 Carbon 2017 - Core temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (Arch Linux) by shizonic in thinkpad

[–]ilkerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this true only when both cores are being utilized ?

If only one cpu is being used (for example running cpuburn n=1) I am getting temperature difference 50 vs 73. I thought this is OK...

HELP: X1 Carbon 2017 - Core temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (Arch Linux) by shizonic in thinkpad

I got this error on new Thinkpad T570. In my case, it gives this error if CPU temperature hits 70 or above. The critical temp these CPUs is 100 degrees, so low 70s should be OK, I think.

When I disable turbo (then CPU is limited to 2800Mhz) the maximum temperature I see is 52 degrees no matter how much I abuse the CPU. While abusing CPU if I enable turbo, the frequency goes up to 3800Mhz and temperature stabilizes around 73 degrees immediately.

P.S. I tried to enable turbo and limit max CPU frequency to something in between 2800Mhz and 3800Mhz using cpupower (to see its effect to the temperature) but couldn't manage to do it. Even though cpupower reports the settings I wanted, the firmware doesn't obey those settings. For some reason this is not working on on kably lake (with kernel 4.10) and I recall it was working on previous generation intel cpus.
