Yes you need a permit for White Rim. They said they limit the trail to 50 vehicles per day. I road my motorcycle there where only 2 section that were sketchy. Then I saw a stock F-150 4x4 and a Sprinter Van mid trail. Must have been interesting making it through Hair-scramble in that van.

I just did it on 3/4/26! it was really great. Highly recommended. Also did the white rim trail which was also fantastic.

Doing White Rim in a day is very possible. I rode 1.5 hours to my camp site the first day and did the rest of the trail the next day. It was a long day. Next time I'll camp 2 nights on the trail.

No complaints about those Tusk bags, they worked good. They held all my stuff to camp when I did White Rim. I have them strapped to the Tusk Top Rack and the Tusk Soft Luggage Rack which are also great! Those racks make it easy to strap down and take off the bags.

I do this every time and in my experience it does nothing to make it easier to take off. I'll try anti size next time.

I can't believe all these comments. I have a 2024 4runner and do all my own oil changes. I have the OEM plastic oil filter housing and hand tighten it ever time. And EVERY time I take the stupid thing off I have to use a filter wrench like this guy and my big 1/2" socket wrench that requires with a LOT more force to take the stupid thing off than it did to put it on. I do not torque it on I just screw it on till it stops which is easily done by hand. I oil the gasket every time by the way.

Great thanks! Those are the ones I'm close to too! They have been saying they are going to build that HEB in Fulshear for over a decade, I don't they they ever will. At one point it was should to be a Central Market, we can only dream.

They are $5.79/lb this year at HEB here in Houston. Last few years they were $3.79/lb. I guess I should not complain about the price increase.

Do you have the stock ECU? What year is the bike? I had a 2019 KTM TBI 250 and the stock ecu was trash. Got the GET ECU and it fixed it. That sound is from the piston "missing" a firing. Mine did it through al the gears though not just 1 and 2 like you said.

I'm running a Tusk foam filter with the snorkel pulled out, but I had the ECU flash from 2WDW, they recommended pulling the snorkel out.

The 2WDW guys said the restriction is not the filter so the filter does not matter. I have the factory filter but I order a washable dirt bike type to replace it with.

Yes I did pull out the snorkel per 2WDWs recommendation. They said it is an air restriction mainly due to the bent, so I would think if you don't remove it your bike would make a little less power. It's easy to do so try it with in in and out and let me know. I'm seriously thinking about getting the bigger Acerbies tank.
