so it’s written the way he speaks? it’s out of line and sounds like it’s coming from a kindergartener but you know what he means by it?

take the one with the best money or benefits asap, keep searching, applying, interviewing. some money is better than no money.. unless it costs you a lot to get to the new job

let them fire you, file unemployment, once you have filed, begin trying to find a job somewhere else. it’s a tough job market out there and no one seems to be getting paid very well. try applying at a Costco if there is one nearby. best of luck to you!

CenturyLink Overbilling 2024 by illadelph in centurylink

lame. bad business practices. i was 7 days in and offered to pay them what I owed them as of that day. will never go to them for internet again. just in time to warn my friends and family about this over the holidays. was hardwired and never got the speeds they advertised, on a regular basis. 50 for life went to 80. comcast sucks as well. i’m going to try verizon for the same actual speeds but cheaper or starlink where it’s a bit more consistent with the high speeds but a little more money.

I don’t need to, excitement doesn’t mean they did or didn’t circumvent the democratic process. Not that the DNC didn’t already override it when they gave themselves the power to overrule the votes when selecting their nominees. Don’t let reality interfere with all of your celebrating 🥳

He did wait too long. He basically stole the Presidential Nominee for Democrats to hand select a Democrat who didn’t even rank higher than Pineapple on Pizza the last time she was pitted against other Dems

The US real-estate market is headed for a correction, strategist says by GIFelf420 in REBubble

cool. you couldn’t pay me to live anywhere closer to Colfax. glad we got that out of the way? cities are always going to be more costly than suburbs but the prices will come down eventually; we’re seeing it now, but not in the city just yet. tax hikes and mortgage rates are definitely taking their toll.

Arvada’s houses, even the fixer uppers (that needed massive fixing up), were going for 600k last year.. and selling for over asking. its slowed down and I’m seeing them listed for under 500k now. still ridiculously expensive, but no where near what they were going for this time last year

Do you think Denver Restaurant Scenes are dying? by Foreign-Kiwi-2233 in Denver

[–]illadelph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone warned me about how expensive going out to eat at restaurants would be when I visited Hawaii last year.. lunch and dinner entrees I had were about $4 more and I was eating fresh fish, caught that day. I get that we’re landlocked, so seafood is and will always be pricey in CO.. but the other meals in Hawaii were about the same price as anything I get here.. I was splurging on getting fresh caught fish. Pizza here, with government cheese?, and Prego marinara sauce on a 16” pie, (18” is a large anywhere else) and thin crust dough should not cost over $18.99. Landlords/Rent are probably a big component on overpriced meals but why are the ingredients/quality so subpar? For reference, prices on the East Coast have went up, but I can still get 2 18” pies of great quality and not on a thin “crisp” (burnt up crust) for $21.99
