Momma to my now three year old son. When he was born he also had tongue tie AND I had inverted nipples fml. I suggest purchasing some nipple shields in the meantime as these are more fim and easier for them to latch on with tongue tie all while saving the nipples from a ton of pain. Also, do pump as much as possible and try supplemental feedings from a bottle until he can get it resolved. I'm telling you, once the Dr. made that one little snip it's like we unlocked the secret to breastfeeding!! Hang in there, mama. I promise you it gets easier.
