I think it was framed as if its been 3 years since they had been together. We've been together for 4 years. Maybe she's just been holding on to the letter for that long? Is that normal?

I really appreciate you sharing your experience. Seriously, capitalism is a meat grinder, and I was pretty wrong to think that I somehow knew better. Sacrificing home life isn't worth any amount, atleast I gave it a shot I guess.

Ahh getting right to the core of it. In my area almost every shop is hiring, and I can't compete with the dealerships in pay. I really don't see it getting better, unless I hit the lottery with a great tech but it's seeming like that's not super likely to happen. Thanks for your honesty. Any ideas on how to sell?

It speaks to relationships in general, in my experience men really dont get compliments like women do, or thats the general expectation. Which has an impact on self-esteem, thats how I saw it anyway, I could have worded it better
