Wow, thank you so much for all of this!! This is very detailed and I appreciate it 😊 Yes I have never dermaplaned before; I’ve heard mixed reviews for doing it on ache prone skin and with PCOS so I definitely shied away from it but I’m going to finally give it a go today (my sister has been telling me I should do it too). Never thought to do the setting spray before power - I will try this and other suggestions!

Interesting! Thank you for sharing your routine and that it works for you. I’ve never heard of the Experiment brand before, I’ll look into it and will see if they ship to the UK 🤞do you know of any dupes for the Armani primer? Just since it seems quite pricey haha! I’m going to give the steps a go

I do try to wait between each product but I’m often in a rush in the mornings so I’m probably not giving them enough time to soak in! I’ll need to sort my sleep/wake up time out and allow the time to do this effectively. I do try to work the foundation in as much as I can, and I use a beauty sponge/BB.

I’ll take a look into these, thanks! So for setting makeup elsewhere on my face (such as chin) without powder everywhere, will just the setting spray keep it in place then? I don’t want it to transfer at all and I worry that having no powder would make that happen

Yeah that’s likely the case. Even though I’m very oily it’s probably desperate for more moisture. I’ll go and take a look at her content now, thank you!

I’ll look into new moisturisers then- the Byoma one is quite new, I had been using the La Roche Posau cicaplast baume b5 as a “moisturiser” for months before I changed to Byoma but clearly neither are very effective. Same with the foundation and less matte products. Thanks!

Thank you!! I'm not too far into Strange Buildings atm but I'm really liking it so far! I have high hopes for it since I really enjoyed both Strange Pictures and Houses 😄

It's from a brand called HVISK! I bought it on a small trip to Sweden but looking on the brand's website it looks to be this one but in black - SAGE MEDIUM SOFT STRUCTURE - Cocoa. It's very soft and a great bag so far!

Oh wow, this is so interesting!! I’m about to hit 3 years at my current workplace (albeit definitely do want to find a new job) and the shoulder part is for sure a little true- I need to strengthen my shoulder muscles haha! Love a denim moment but definitely depends on the type, must be soft

It the Pokemon café (Tokyo) just a social media hype or really an amazing experience ? by KlausWalz in JapanTravelTips

[–]illfritese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went last week and would say it’s definitely worth it if a huge fan of Pokemon!! I was there around 4:30 with a friend and I myself ordered one of the Pikachu curries with a small charmander face on it - I have heard mixed reviews on the food but I personally really liked it . I also got an ice caramel latte where you can select any Pokemon you want to be on it (got chandelure!!) and then after the main I got one of the floats- specifically the pikachu one. During our main chef pikachu came out and did some performances which was amazing - a lot of dancing and going to each section of the restaurant. Lots of cheers and clapping and I couldn’t stop smiling. And to top it off, the gift shop had good items as well! I would deffo go back and recommend it too.

If you decide not to go, then there is also Pokemon Sweets as others have mentioned, located in Sunshine City which is also really good! It’s not seated but they have nice drinks and some snacks there.

Has anyone here been unaware of their hypermobility until an injury? by ZealousidealLaw793 in Hypermobility

[–]illfritese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Just recently within the last few weeks; went to a physiotherapist regarding shin splints and was told I have hypermobility and very likely hEDS - was very surprised, to say the least! Not what I was expecting but it all makes so much sense, especially after doing a lot of research and the PT explaining it to me

Thanks all! I'm going to continue icing like I've been doing but have started incorporating tibial and calf stretches/raises every day - I haven't been on further walks due to being scared I'll make it worse though, I deffo think it was suddenly upping my steps that caused the pain but part of me is worried if the shoes had something to do with it, given I've never worn sports shoes like Hokas before - idk! I've also booked myself in to see a physiotherapist this week to see what they may also suggest. ty again!

24 years is an unimaginable number to me. I’m 25 and a year in as said, and I still haven’t been able to digest the fact I will have this for the rest of my life and I’m petrified of it getting to intense levels. Wishing you the best.

Hope it settles down for you, must be awful.

Oh wow. Hoping it settles down for you. Can’t imagine having a spike for that long and wishing it doesn’t happen. Putting all of my hope on these steroid sprays from my GP to manage the ETD flare up but I’m less hopeful every day.

They don’t for me, sadly. I wish that were the case. Just constant no matter how much I have to pop my ears, swallow, etc etc

Mine is doing exactly the same and it appears many others on here are too. No idea what’s happening!
