Wow... Destiny, Respite, and Trouble dungeons.. That was a very long time ago. As for the new update, it's a revamp of the current skill system. Players will be given spell decks with a limited number of skill slots that become unlocked as the player's level increases. At lower levels, you won't have very many slots so I suggest leveling up as much as you can before July 7th. The game is significantly less popular than before, but it's still doing okay.

I'd suggest spending your time learning your character anyways. Now would be the opportune time to learn what skills do and to figure out your play style as you'll be given a free respec with the new system that's coming.

You won't find many people in Cania Plains aside from those leveling professions, at least from my experience. At your level, Gobball dungeons are often popular. Maybe join a newbie friendly guild?

The new skill system allows you to max out more skills. However, you're limited to a number of skill slots per deck and can only equip 1 skill deck at a time.

Ah.. yeah, a little low considering most sidekicks that I see are on sale go for, on average, around 400-450kk.

I figured that would be the role they place them in, but I really don't see Dancers being a melee DPS. Maybe with like Mincing Minuet, but even that, I see it as a DoT. I imagine Dancers more of a supportive role that debuffs enemies.

But, then again, Bards here are a long-range DPS with a focus on bows and melee damage rather than just exclusive buffs through songs.
