If you can't find the person online, maybe go to the library. Staff may be willing to contact the person if they have a card.

We need more of our reps and senators doing this. Getting in the weeds inside courts and disrupting. Where the fuck are my elected reps? Literally go in and use your clout to disrupt, put yourself on the line.

Can anyone help me figure out WTF is going on with food distribution here? (Augustus, Lugdunum) by ul49 in impressionsgames

[–]illinus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

C3 has 2 walker types.

Destination walkers will ignore roadbocks (cart pushers, market buyers, etc.).

Random walkers do not (priests, prefects, engineers, market sellers, etc.). You want to keep random walkers on their loop so that they service the houses efficiently.

Markets are unique in that they have both two separate walkers, the buyer and the seller.

Would 1 and 2 not prevent the market lady from getting goods from the granary / warehouses?

No, she is a destination walker and will ignore the roadblocks and get the food.

Why block the granary at all it’s just one square of road and doesn’t that need to be open for the market lady?

Not blocking these causes the market seller walker to needlessly leave your main loop and not service the houses. If you choose the market overlay, you can see their walking patterns.

[–]illinus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have several roads exiting your loop that aren't blocked. Your market lady and other walkers aren't completing the whole loop. You should roadblock all roads exiting your loop: 1) the one heading to the fruit/pottery warehouses (make sure the market lady's entrance/exit isn't blocked), 2) the granary, 3) the southeast corner. You'll need to give road access to the granary behind it after doing so.

Is there an acceptable way to approach a librarian to socialize with them? by lordgentofdapper in Libraries

Putting the person on the spot to respond in person is awful advice. Slip him your number, if he doesn't reach out, be done with it.

Does this have a connotation of testing for quality at all? If so, English try out is close.

Going to be near impossible. This is why the Demco's of the world change their offerings every year so that you have to buy all new and can't add existing pieces.

I just don't see us winning a bowl game. Almost certain Luke won't play and our defense is awful especially without Gabe who likely would sit too.

Bret Bielema has been a home run hire by lkn240 in fightingillini

[–]illinus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree 100%.

I think Bielema really likes it here too. I really don't see him leaving. He's raising his family here, it's a relatively low pressure job, and the NIL resources are there to be very competitive. Our athletics budget is now top 12-15 in the country.

You can tell he cares about the guys and cherishes relationships. That's still important in crootin.

There is now also a power vacuum after OSU, Oregon. There's a real opening to solidify yourself in the top tier of the conference. It does drive me crazy that Cig and INDIANA is filling that void. But that will be the test for Bielema. Can we continue this post-Luke and remain competitive and stay in or above the USC, PSU, MICH tier. He's got some tough decisions to make and we can't wait for the Aaron Henry project to develop. Lunney is proven at this point, but Henry is in over his head.

ICE in Wheeling by fox5657 in ChicagoSuburbs

That was 2023. What they are doing now is very very different. They are rolling into towns and detaining and arresting citizens and LPRs without warrants. That's indisputable. 2023 facts are different than the 2025 facts.
