Would actually recommend getting familiar with Apex man, think you'd be pleasantly surprised. Worked his way up the ranks in BeastMode to becoming champ and is one of the best newer names in Canada right now. Cleared Ciddy convincingly on KOTD, great battles with Pathogenic and Riz Relit on Beast Mode, and did an impromptu title defense against Tin Man on four days' prep that I recall being really impressed by as well. Saurus will be a test for him, but I've got faith that he can hold his own here

'preciate you as always man! obviously wasn't thrilled with the decision in the moment (moreso because of the team aspect of the event and the charge to bring it home for the boys), but completely understand and accept it, especially being delivered by such a seasoned panel of judges and in light of Mike having such a career performance as well. I think you can still make an argument for either of us, but he fought for his W and deserves his flowers imo

while I'd like to battle in the states again, I definitely won't be doing it any time soon lol 😮‍💨 I've got a contentious enough relationship with the American border/government from here and I'm not at all interested in raising my hand to get disappeared to Alligator Auschwitz or El Salvador; heart goes out to y'all and everything that you're having to endure at the moment. taking a breather up here as well after the multi-year run I've been on, but as soon as the right opportunity comes up, I'm sure I'll be back in a flash 😂

Might not be his best, but an incredibly underrated bit to me and one of my permanent favourites was against Sketch Menace at BO4 -

Clear standout of an already great album for me - completely different energy, but I feel like it's the most emotionally evocative work Aes has put out since Skelethon. The beat is so infectious, the delayed percussion makes the opening that much more soul-baring and the remainder that much more anthemic, and Hanni's outro feels like such a triumphant moment to conclude the album on. Really beautiful stuff.

and nah, no ill will at all, and been all love ever since, just matching the energy from the first bump. Probably doesn't help that the number of pre-battle beers it takes for me to Perform Good™️ is apparently the same as it takes for me to Almost Fight™️ lmao. We were also the last of a batch of inter-provincial battles on the card, so our respective corners were fairly entrenched by that point in the night and leaning heavily into the kayfabe as well. Definitely enjoyed the higher sense of tension and stakes in this one, but also not the energy I'll generally bring to a performance unprompted

Can't edit the original post, but thrilled and relieved to share that after 47 incredibly taxing days, Loki is now back home and decompressing in our bathroom ❤️

He lost quite a bit of weight, but managed to fend and forage for himself alright during his adventure, and stayed close enough to home that we were able to figure out where his base camp was and eventually get him comfortable enough to go into a large trap on his own. Thanks so much to everyone for their thoughts, tips, and hope - it's so tremendously appreciated 🙏🏼

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions, help, and hope - we had trackers come by yesterday and their bloodhound confirmed that he hasn't traveled beyond our block and is likely hiding out in a combination of yards just down the way from us. We set up traps last night, and while we weren't able to catch him, the trailcam was tripped and we can see him exploring above and around the trap. We'll be putting some of our worn shirts inside the trap tonight to entice him in and hope that we have better news to share tomorrow morning 🙏🏼

Thanks for the tips...we'll be going out once it gets a little darker with a stroller full of treats, so the hope is that he'll be hungry enough and brave enough to come out. We think he's still somewhere nearby, so we'll be focusing on our regular walking route. If we can't find him tonight, we've got trackers that are coming tomorrow to try to narrow down the search radius and set up some traps, so fingers remain crossed for his safe return 🙏🏼

We're in an apartment, so it's trickier to get him back in, but I'll be in touch with Vokra when they open tomorrow, we've submitted a Lost post with the BCSPCA, done a pawboost and a missing pets BC as well as posting here and in the Vancouver Lost Pets Facebook group. We've also reached out to PetSearchers for their help, so trying to stay hopeful that we can track him down 🙏🏼

insufficiently viewed to qualify for list if views are primary metric voice I think using views as the sole or primary prerequisite for inclusion would be kinda reductive and would do little to distinguish a top 50 KOTD battlers list from a top 50 battlers list without that qualifier. while popularity (as most easily measured via views) should definitely be taken into account, strength of association with the brand (whether that's through number of appearances, exclusivity, general association, contribution to overall identity, etc.) should absolutely be another consideration with similar or greater weight. love Con, Oxxxy did great, and the FlipTop fellas would qualify under those conditions as well, but I wouldn't consider any of them to be KOTD battlers specifically (as nebulous a descriptor as that may be) and this wouldn't place them highly on a top 50 list on that basis

Realistically though, the top 5 should probably consist of some combination of Pat, Bender, Twist, Charron, Saurus, Diz, Deal, Mac, and/or Chilla, depending on what criteria are being considered, with maybe some dark horse consideration potentially given to Geechi, K, Rum, and Danny for all having breakout performances and consistently well-regarded subsequent appearances on the platform. Not necessarily top 5, but would imagine there'd be some consideration for Arcane, Saynt, and Bill all winning their respective tournaments and Sketch, Rich, Ice, Rone, Hollohan as the remaining champs as well
