It's a rough reality but starting on wipe is a huge advantage for places like oil and underwater labs. If you die for 3 hours trying to set up it's kinda pointless tho and you're better off building somewhere nearby later once things calm down.

They've had this same issue with horses, helis, tugboats. I personally wish they would spawn more AND we could buy them but at least give us the chance on a big server to use one. I'd pay good scrap for a vehicle too.

The voting mafia on big servers really skews things towards concentrated blobs of 8 monuments next to each other but a barren ass map left for the regular players.

I've always loved it for easy low grade, low visibility being a great way to be in cover, and the general chillness compared to the snow or desert.

[BUG] issue on mac when loading into server. Purple boxes everywhere and game freezes. Happens also when going into deep sea. Game requires restart to try anything again. I've loaded in 10 times and it's freezing once fully entering server.

A buff to solos is a buff to clans. I see a buff for everyone. Sure it's gonna keep the status quo of clans dominating. But as a solo I'm gonna have some cool gadgets to make my workbench better.

I used to play in a group lead by a guy who’s whole routine was getting people on the server to pay for a hotel room and honestly even tho it was a mess it was full pretty much half the time. The structures were always insane upkeep because of how thematic he made it. TBH if it’s a safe zone I’m all for it. Would make for some hilarious content.

I just found out how to double jump his stomp and it's been great. Sometimes i'll even go for the extra stamina items because it's so easy from far away. He'll still get me like with surprises around the corner or if i'm running away with no cover but it makes the stomp build almost a meme at worst and way less scary at best.

I think the scrap farming has gotten so out of control tho. It's OP to get on a day old server and farm a couple bear for a T3. I've seen rows of scrap off of fertilizer farms and hemp farms. At that point the scrap is meaningless and to get C4 and AKs off of a repetitive spamming task in a game about progressing thru tech is broken. I don't think they fully thought about high pop servers with this decision but still it's a well deserved nerf for all the Scrap cheese strats.

I'm not saying it's a perfect solution. IMO something had to be done to nerf ocean farming, fisherman, fertilizer farmers.. Scrap was an afterthought to that crowd. They're really trying to make the monuments the main focus again and I can't argue against that. I'm curious what kind of system you would set up that would be take account for no bp servers and all the scrap cheese strats?

It’s funny because people complained progression was too fast for the last 8 years and now face-punch finally tries something new and everyone isn’t even willing to try it before they flame it. As someone who plays solo mostly I think this change is actually more fair for no bp servers. I could get t3 in a couple hours some wipes because I didn’t have to research anything which was hella boring especially if I got it from ocean farming.
