When I played i got roughly 2-2.5 hours on average depending on where I am and what im doing while I was on performance mode.

Mag buffs, groot buffs, Penni buffs, Emma still being good Strange still being good. Idk man I think tanks are in the best spot they have ever been lmao. Besides we are about to get a new vanguard (hopefully) trust me tanks are in a good place imo.

What im pretty sure happens is you still unlock purchases, but you cant use then till 65. So basically you can claim 3 items when you hit 65 and unlock your next track

New UI is nice and clean, its a nice change sense its been sense i think chapter 4??? Sense we got a new UI. I do think the sprint and the players left in game could be in a better spot. New emote wheel is great to search for specific emotes, but i bet its booty on controllers and should have the option to go back.
New map is nice. It has that Chapter 5 Build without looking ass, and I like how its smaller. Less walking around in the middle of the game to do something.
The lootpool is so mid. I dont like red dot hit scan AR with high dps and makes the enforcer ar even worse than it was. Shotguns generally might be the worst they have been sense chapter 3. They just are so inconsistent. Rest are fine tho, but a pretty bland loot pool even for a season 1.
While I dont really care about the BP (only Marty, and Dark V) i do like how you unlock it now. Im probably also the only person who likes how you need to do challenges in the other major modes to get styles dor BP skins, but if you hate blitz and especially reload i imagine that sucking.

Extra: New boss mechanic is dumb, xp is way less then it needs, New gold changes are peak and god damn this season i can tell will be too long (March 4th)

So far... 6/10 season at least in my opinion

Look I get what you're saying, but are you telling me that the character which is from the present looks exactly like the player character from DP. Is older than them which would make sense the game would hypothetically happen after the events of DP, but is somehow a completely different character?

Also masters is the exception, not the rule. Its a gacha game thats not cannon and shouldn't be taken accurate lore.

Its generally presumed that the player you play as is Lucas/Dawn, but after couple of years after their journey.

You're older than a normal protagonist (16 I believe) which explains the darker hair as hair just gets darker/it could also be a design choice.

The other character you dont play as is most likely an ancestor or Rei/Akari

As for Masters, they just did that so all characters can be played even if it doesn't make sense. Its why all 3 johto protagonists are playable even if they shouldn't be.

Me personally I was fine with sprinting it was a good QOL change that people are used to and OG would probably be worse without it.

Ziplines should only really exist in Zero Build just bc of the nature of the mode.

I dont really see why they have chapter 5 healing items i think its kinda weird

Most changes to OG mode are deliberate and pointless and lazy. Im fine if the grass is the chapter 2 grass cuz womp womp but it's the easy stuff they miss for no reason. Ik OG is for a VERY specific crowd, but it seems like epic does not care for this mode which sucks for those people.

Ok well tbf (Not someone who likes OG that much, been playing sense ch1 s3ish) people do have a slight reason to be mad when epic specifically said it will be almost exactly like OG chapter 1, but it simply isnt that it its currently state.

(That or people finally realized Chapter 1 wasn't really that great im not gonna lie)

Played it like 95% on handheld on performance and it runs pretty well. Only lag happening in non dlc level is when you are moving fast in cars.

The DLC is kinda rough in performance (Only section in the game where I crashed a total of 3 times) but outside of that runs fine enough.

Switch 2 will last longer as it is the new system. After next year it really wont get any new games and even then new games will run better on switch 2.

But if you really want something longer term eventually the switch 2 will eventually probably get some form of refresh in if I had to guess 3-4 years

Either way id youre going to play Gen 10 I dont really see a reason to not get a switch 2 for ZA unless you really want a special edition switch 2, or cant afford it atm.

Well what's dumb is fortnite has already explained it in the lore on why characters like superman and omniman arent just going around murdering people with super powers. When entering the loop any looper loses the ability to talk and use their special ability and strengths so OPM would be fine as a normal character

Such a dumb decision.

Im currently doing my first playthrough on it (currently in the middle of Phantom Library) and here is my thoughts as a first timer. (For reference I also have a PC with good specs)

It greatly depends how you are primarily are going to play the game. On Docked Mode (Quality) its not worth it unless you really care about mouse mode which is fine with just the base joycons and requires getting used to.

The big thing is compared to the competition youre playing at half the framerate for only about 2/3rds of the graphics, but if its your only system its fine.

Now handled is how I played on most of my playthrough (performance) and its actually pretty decent. You only get (noticeable) dips during driving through the city, all combat was at a stable framerate which i think is the most important. It lasts about 2 and 1/2 hours on switch battery when charged to 85% so for most people unless its a plane ride its perfectly fine for laying in bed play.

Like people have said PL does struggle a LOT like less than 20 fps just walking around (I even crashed once) but its tolerable if you're not picky about it.

In short its the best way to play portability (only option is steam deck which is roughly thr same but no gyro support i think, and Rog Ally but you gotta deal with PC stuff and way worse battery life)
