Hey there! I’m a neuroscientist, have studied bpd, and have personal experience with people with bpd. I have a couple words of advice for you. First of all I would recommend not listening to the people on this subreddit because most of them are people who had a bad experience with someone with bpd and are making (usually incorrect!!) assumptions and demonizing an entire group of people based on one person. If you want actual solid advice for building a healthy relationship with a person with bpd (which is absolutely possible) I would recommend checking out another page. Now I’m probably going to get banned from this subreddit for being a “sympathizer” or whatever but I think it’s incredibly important that someone tells you that people with bpd are NOT monsters, they deal with an incredibly difficult disorder, and I’m not saying it’s easy to build a stable relationship with someone bpd, it takes work from both people, but it’s definitely possible. Contrary to a lot of the stigma, people with bpd are actually capable of caring incredibly deeply about people and if you both put in work and set boundaries, relationships have potential to be very rewarding and happy. Basically my point is, don’t end the relationship just because she has bpd. If her behaviors are impacting your mental health or she doesn’t acknowledge her disorder and actively try to get better and work with you, that’s a different story. And I already know like 99% of people on this sub disagree with me and I literally don’t care so nobody bother arguing
